Bespoke Mentis builds AI-powered products and services. This page provides full transparency about the AI systems we operate, how they work, and how we comply with California and federal law.

Our AI Systems
Mentis — AI Chat Assistant
Mentis is an AI-powered conversational assistant available on bespokementis.com. It is built on large language model (LLM) technology and is designed to answer questions about our products, services, and enterprise AI use cases. Mentis is an artificial intelligence system, not a human. It identifies itself as an AI at the start of every session.
Mentis Intelligence (MIOS) — Blog & Content Automation
The Mentis Intelligence Operating System (MIOS) includes a content intelligence subsystem used to assist in drafting blog articles and product documentation. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and approved by human editors before publication. Published articles carry an AI disclosure block where applicable.
Agent Conexus — AI Email & Marketing Intelligence
Agent Conexus is our AI-powered marketing and outreach platform. It uses machine learning models for email personalization, lead scoring, and marketing campaign optimization. Agent Conexus operates under human oversight and all outbound communications are reviewed before delivery.

California SB 1001 Compliance
California Senate Bill 1001 (Bot Disclosure Law) prohibits the use of a bot to communicate with a California resident online with the intent to mislead the resident into thinking they are communicating with a person.
Bespoke Mentis complies with SB 1001. The Mentis chat assistant discloses that it is an AI at the start of every session. It does not claim to be human, does not use deceptive tactics to simulate human conversation, and clearly identifies itself as an automated system in all interactions.

California AB 2885 — Artificial Intelligence Definition
California Assembly Bill 2885 establishes a statutory definition of “artificial intelligence” for use across California law. Bespoke Mentis uses this definition throughout our disclosures and compliance documentation.
Statutory Definition — AB 2885
“Artificial intelligence” means an engineered or machine-based system that, for a given set of objectives, generates outputs such as predictions, recommendations, decisions, or content that influence real or virtual environments.
All Bespoke Mentis AI products — including Mentis, Agent Conexus, MIOS, and MIOS Health — operate within this definition.
SECTION 4
CCPA/CPRA — Automated Decision-Making
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grants California residents rights regarding automated decision-making processes that use personal information.
Agent Conexus uses AI for email personalization and lead scoring, which constitutes automated decision-making. Specifically:
- Email content is personalized using AI based on user behavior and preferences
- Lead scoring models assess engagement likelihood to prioritize outreach
- No automated decisions have legal or similarly significant effects without human review

AI-Generated Content Policy
Some articles on the Bespoke Mentis blog are drafted with AI assistance through the MIOS content intelligence subsystem. Our policy:
- All AI-assisted articles are reviewed and approved by a human editor before publication
- Articles that are substantially AI-generated carry a visible AI DISCLOSURE block
- Factual claims are verified by human reviewers
- AI is never used to fabricate quotes, invent sources, or misrepresent authorship
SECTION 6
MIOS Health AI — AB 3030 / AB 489 Compliance
MIOS Health is an AI-powered platform deployed for healthcare providers. Bespoke Mentis complies with California AB 3030 (AI-generated health communications) and AB 489 (patient communication standards) where applicable.
All AI-generated patient communications through MIOS Health:
- Include a required disclosure that the message was AI-generated
- Include instructions directing the patient to contact a human provider for medical advice
- Are not used to diagnose, treat, or prescribe without human clinical review
- Are reviewed by the deploying healthcare provider before delivery
